Perspective of Experts

      Ensuring both prevention and control of the epidemic and rehabilitation is the most important issue that must be addressed by the whole society and even the world at present. To improve the scientificity and effectiveness of epidemic prevention and control, especially to popularize the medical experience with traditional knowledge of Chinese philosophy and the combination of Chinese and Western wisdom, which will serve as a good reference and impetus for current and future epidemic prevention and control.

      The key to the scientific prevention and control of the epidemic is awareness and knowledge, and the prevention and control of the epidemic shall uphold the idea of “two hands to grasp, both hands must be strong”, put everything down to ground for better results.

      As a scientific and technical worker who adheres to the concept of circular economy, advocates green ecology and attaches importance to life science to save lives, I have accumulated some experience in health care through research and scientific practice. Over the years, I have committed to the promotion of health care work normalization, institutionalization and concretization, and adhere to their own enterprise staff for a healthy life, safe production environment and unremitting efforts. In the battle against SARS, I actively put forward advice and submitted the report of SARS Etiology Research and Prevention and Control of Chinese Herbal Medicine and was awarded by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine with affirmation and attention. The report was filed into the prescription archive. This February 13, I proposed health care and COVID-19 prevention and control “Recipe” to the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, providing valuable reference for experts.

      In face of COVID-19, we have the morale to calmly face and selflessly involve into the battle, the key lies in correct understanding of the connotation of man and nature and the dialectical relationship between the two. At the same time, always maintain a sense of vigilance in safety.

      All things should be done in advance, it will be ruined if not well prepared. Especially in prevention of epidemics. To put it simple, it is about prediction and prevention. Only with prediction can we do good in prevention. Forecasting comes from insight and discovery of the nature. It depends on scientific exploration on the nature of things and scientific inference of the development trend of things.

      The occurrence of anything is not accidental, it has fixed inevitability. The same is true of the outbreak of the new coronavirus. It is well known that human immunity is the first defense line against spread of the epidemic. But in the last few decades, with deterioration of living environment and habits, the function of the physiological system has lost its balance: Air pollution and air-conditioning sealed the environment have been resulting in high incidence of respiratory diseases. Excessive use of fertilizers, pesticides and hormones in crops have become a major cause of human diseases. At present, more than 75% of the global population are in sub-health, the proportion of the population with basic diseases continues to expand, the elderly disease is becoming younger, human immunity, anti-virus ability has generally declined, resulting in a large increase in the probability of people infected with various epidemics.

      Furthermore, the production mode beyond natural capacity has broken the ecological balance, causes frequent occurrence of climate, geology, biology and other related disasters, accelerates breeding and reproduction of all kinds of germs and viruses, and causes the vicious circle of the biological chain. For example, in recent 10 years, the over exploit of hot springs has not only aggravate the ground subsidence, more terribly, it has reduced the earth's heat storage pressure, so that the earth's temperature rises and cause the earth's magnetic field strength decline, gravity and torsion weaken, climate warming and accelerate the iceberg melting and sea level rise of South and North Pole. According to the Nature, in just five years from 2012 to 2017, the melting rate of Antarctica's glaciers has increased 3 times, with a total of 3.3 trillion melting in the South and North Poles. On February 9, Brazilian Scientist Schaefer measured the temperature ever recorded on the Antarctic island of Seymour-it was 20.75℃, breaking the record of 19.8℃ January, 1982.

      Facts show that in the last decade or so, we have experienced the warmest winter in the history of many weather records. Due to the abnormal climate, the old folk saying “sunny winter, sloppy new year, sloppy winter and a sunny new year” is no longer true.

      According to Master Lü's Spring and Autumn Annals: “If we take the action of summer in spring, dieseases would be genereated” According to the observation of 24 solar climate changes over the years, I believe that the vicious cycle of climate abnormal formation of biological chain will lead to spontaneous combustion disasters, as the saying goes, “there will be a pandemics after a catastrophe.” In last July and August, I speculated that there would most likely be a viral outbreak as winter and spring alternate. Due to the mission and sensitivity of science and technology worker, by the end of last year, I had made early preparations for the procurement of medical supplies for disease prevention.

      During the outbreak, on the basis of implementing the various prevention and control measures prescribed by the government, we made full use of our accumulated medical and health care experience over the years, and insisted on the combination of “prescribed actions and special actions” to form a solid epidemic prevention and control network, thus achieving a two-pronged approach: One is to set up a “disinfection room” to form an extra protective barrier. According to Huangdi Neijing, the traditional Chinese medicine idea that “if the righteous is within, then the evil will not take the host”, we made synthetic with acacia and high concentration edible alcohol, by oxidation, gasification”. We required the workers to enter the “disinfection room” once or twice a day for whole body disinfection, in order to ensure the realization of disinfection and enhance immunity double efficacy. Second, we carefully modulated “Incense Wine” and other series of health care products (per capita value more than RMB 3000) carefully distributed to their own staff and peripheral friends, for them to take regularly according to personal physical ability. At the same, by constantly regulating the human body physiological and psychological balance, we suggested them to maintain a stable and optimistic state of mind. Since the outbreak, not a worker has had any health problems. This has not only provided sound foundation for well-being of the staff and workers family, but also played an important role in optimized the surrounding epidemic prevention and control of the human and natural environment.

      The epidemic is thought-provoke and disasters arouse ponders on humanity. Only respecting life and fearing nature, only harmonious symbiosis between nature and human can be the most long-lasting vaccine to overcome the epidemic and save the fate of mankind. Man has only one earth, who have shared destiny. Only by promoting the establishment of the “Shared community of human destiny” can we truly promote the progress of human civilization, realize sustainable development of society and create a prosperous and beautiful world.
